Ceremonial Conferment of Doctoral Degrees
The Aalto University schools of technology will celebrate their 23rd ceremonial conferment of doctoral degrees on 10 October 2014 at Otaniemi campus (Otakaari 1, Hall A).
The ceremonial conferment of doctoral degrees in technology has a long tradition: during its 100 years as a university, TKK organised altogether 20 ceremonies for the conferment of doctoral degrees, and the Aalto University School of Science and Technology organised one prior to its division into four schools of technology. From now on, the four schools of technology will take turns organising the joint ceremonies for the conferment of doctoral degrees at Aalto University schools of technology. School of Electrical Engineering organised the ceremonial conferment of doctoral degrees on 12 October 2012 and now it is School of Chemical Technology's turn to organise the event.
